* Refund Process: Our team requires time to conduct a thorough inspection and finalize maintenance reports after your check out, which is why we disclose a 7 to 14 business day window for refunds.

* Finalization: We will contact you once the refund is processed. The full amount will be returned provided there are no damages or rule violations. In the event of any incidentals, you will receive a detailed summary of deductions. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Good: The actual unit was beautiful and as described EXCEPT for the balcony view being impeded by the torn up and closed pool. The owner was very responsive although they were unable to help with the issues we had which greatly affected our stay. The beach was nice and Ubers were easy. 
The Bad: The building is NOT nice. It is outdated with chipped paint everywhere, dimly lit hallways, construction noise and smells (which were described in the listing, BUT the noise was pretty loud!) It smells moldy. The entrance to the beach is through a rusty gate. Even locals commented on how terrible ESJ Towers is. The main issue we had was no water for about half a day and no electricity for a full day (so cold showers, getting ready in the dark, no AC) We were unable to enjoy the wonderful amenities of the unit. ESJ is unable to manage a serious issue like water and power outages. Although the unit and owner were nice, my stay was ruined due to the issues at the building." (6/5)
